Acceptable formats for display advertisements:

Mac formatted Quark 5.0 or earlier

Mac formatted Adobe Pagemaker

Mac formatted Adobe InDesign 3.0 or earlier

Mac formatted Adobe Illustrator CS or earlier
EPS, TIFF, and PDF files (Zip disks, floppy disks, CDs and email transmission are acceptable)

Please provide all necessary fonts, including printer and screen fonts

Please provide all necessary images as TIFF or EPS files, in CMYK or Grayscale format, 300 dpi at print size.

Please include a hard copy proof with your disk: match print or Kodak approval for color ads preferred, photostat or laser print for B&W.

Double-check that your ad is to the proper dimensions and that there are no typographical errors.

Printing Information

Web offset printing process, 150-line screen.
Magazine is saddle-stitched.
Page trim size is 8-1/4”w x 10-1/2”h, with a bleed size of 8-3/4”w x 11”h.
Please keep all type 1/4” from trimmed edges.

Banner Advertisements

Banner ads can be either: 300 x 48 pixels, or 600 x 48 pixels

All artwork should be in RGB color format, saved as either a JPEG or GIF

Satya accepts animated GIFs, please contact us for more information.

Files should be no larger than 72 dpi.
